Yoga, variyingly credited to Hindu Upanishads, a combination of physical, mental and spiritual disciplines. Yoga has become popular as a form of physical and mental exercise based upon some asanas and controlled breathing to warm up and refreshen our inner and outer soul. It helps us to control our mind, soul and body and enhance our attitude towards life. The word Yoga comes from a Sanskrit “Yuj”.. Yoga is a practical tool not a religion. Its an ancient art or means of body exercise which develops our body, mind and soul.

Types Of Yoga:
Yoga helps us to increase our Strength, Flexibility and breathing, boosting our physical and mental well-being. There are various types of yoga and each type has its unique feature. Not going its detail but types of yoga are:

3. Iyengar Yoga
4. Jivamukti Yoga
5. Kripalu Yoga
6. Kundalini Yoga

In our daily life, we normally practice Sivananda which includes 12 basic asanas named by Sun Salutations ( Soorya Namaskar ) and Savasana poses (Relaxation poses).

Weight loss, a Flexible and strong body with glowing and charming skin, with a clam and peaceful mind are the benefits of yoga without a description. Yoga is very much powerful and practicing yoga on daily basis helps us in

There are various asanas in yoga which can cure many of the commonly found diseases in today’s life such as Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Low Blood Pressure, Cardiac problems, Gynecology disorders, Prostate, Piles, varicose, Sinusitis, Arthritis.

Importance of Yoga:

Yoga is a way that aims to provide us a healthy and peaceful life. In today’s world, there are various sources which helps in reducing body weight such as Aerobics, Zumba, Gym, Oral substitutes(medicines) but none of these will provide us the internal eternity or mental peace. Yoga is the only means which help us to achieve to reduce weight as well as attain internal eternity. Yoga is a step which we climb to find happiness within ourselves. Yoga has the power to increase our moral strength and courage. There are various asanas which can make our tensed life calm and happy. Bringing yoga to our daily routine can bring a lot of changes in our approach towards life.

International Yoga Day:

Today Yoga has been world wide famous and most people around the globe practice yoga. Today yoga has got so much prominence that our Indian Honorable Prime Minister suggested 21st June as International Yoga Day as it is the longest day of the year in Northern Hemisphere. Hence 21st June has been declared as International Yoga Day by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on 11th December 2014 and started celebrating since 2015.

During his speech Honorable Prime Minister Modiji said ” Yoga is a Invaluable gift provided from our ancient culture. It is just not an exercise but a path through which an individual can come closer to nature and its beauty. Its the way through which we can unite our soul, mind and body hence attaining eternity. On the whole, Yoga is the Power or approach to attain Health and well being.
