A very tasty dish made of Methi leaves/ Fenugreek leaves. Health wise if we see methi leaves are very good but usually children’s & elders don’t eat Methi dishes due to its bitter taste but present this dish in front of these non – eaters!!!!!! They will simply eat this dish due to its nice aroma & taste.
Ingredients:
- Methi/ Fenugreek/ Ulava leaves – 1cup (chopped)
- Wheat Flour/ Atta – 2cups
- Corn Flour – ½ cup
- Ginger – Garlic paste – 1tbsp
- Chili powder – 1tsp
- Garam Masala powder – 1tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Cumin/ Jeera Seeds – 1tsp
- Coriander/ Malli/ Dhaniya leaves – 2tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Oil – 2tsp
Method:

In a vessel, Add all the above mentioned ingredients except oil & knead the dough with limited water.

Pour oil to the dough & knead till it becomes smooth. Close the vessel with a lid & set aside for ½ an hour.

Make lemon size balls from the dough. Roll out each ball into a 6 inch paratha.

Heat a pan. Place the paratha & grease it with 1/2tsp of butter. When the sides turn light brown, turn it to other side & grease it with 1/2tsp of butter.

When both sides are properly cooked, remove it to a plate.
Methi paratha is ready to serve hot. Goes well with thick curd/ yogurt, Makhan, Dal fry.
